Itinerary

Surf Beach – Step onto famous surfing beaches on the Surf Coast and get some sand between your toes.
Beach walk – Walk along a beautiful beach.
Historic Memorial Arch—To commemorate the workers who built the road, stop for a photo opportunity with the Great Ocean Road Sign!
Seaside Towns – Feel the vibe of quaint small coastal towns as you journey through.
Wildlife spotting – Spot wild Koalas, Kookaburras, Parrots and Lorikeets in the eucalyptus trees.
Apollo Bay: Spend some time finding lunch (at your own expense) before exploring this beautiful coastal town.
Rainforest – Embark on a guided bushwalk in the ancient Otway Rainforest, which has some special flora and fauna.
Twelve Apostles – View the magnificent and majestic 12 Apostles from multiple vantage points.
Loch Ard Gorge – Be surrounded by the towering limestone cliffs as you step down onto the beach below.
Overnight in the coastal town of Warrnambool

Clifftop Coastal Walk – Look for seals as you embark on a relaxed walk along the coastline in Warrnambool.
Whale Watching – Look for whales at Logans Beach as they make their way around the Southern Coast of Australia (Jun to Sep).
Tower Hill National Park—Victoria’s first National Park is a 30,000-year-old extinct volcano. Originally the land of the local Koroitgundidj people, it is now a wildlife wonderland full of Koalas, Emus, Kangaroos, Magpie Geese, Echidnas, Possums, and water birds.
Mount Rouse – Take a walk to the very top of this extinct volcano and enjoy spectacular views of lava fields and the surrounding landscape. On a clear day, you can see the ocean to the south and the Grampians to the north.
Halls Gap – Spend time in Halls Gap and get your lunch in numerous cafes or restaurants. Try a classic Aussie pie or a traditional gelati.
Aboriginal Culture—Learn about the history and culture of the Jardwadjali and Djab Wurring Aboriginal tribes. The surrounding gardens are a great place to relax and spot more wildlife.
Chautauqua Peak or The Pinnacle—Explore the breathtaking beauty of massive sandstone outcrops and eucalypt-covered slopes with a 2-hour hike to the top of the Wonderland Range. The range offers breathtaking views of the Grampians and the Wimmera plains. Sturdy hiking shoes with good grip and at least 2 litres of water are essential.

FAQ

A minimum moderate to advanced fitness level is required to complete the walks. Walks can be up to 3km long, often over steep and rocky sections and in direct sunlight. Walks will be at the guide’s discretion to ensure the safety of guests.

Transportation is provided for the tour, typically using a comfortable air-conditioned coach, to travel between destinations along the Great Ocean Road and within the Grampians National Park.

The tour price covers most expenses, but there may be additional costs for personal expenses or meals not included in the itinerary, so you must budget for these separately.

Due to the length and nature of this tour, it is not suitable for children 5 years and under. An adult or legal guardian must accompany children aged between 6 and 17 years old at all times and must stay in private twin rooms.

The Grampians National Park is known for its diverse wildlife, including kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, and various bird species. Although wildlife sightings are not guaranteed, your guide will try to visit areas with known wildlife activity.
